The theme this year was the filth of the urban center of  Divinópolis, the lack of the garbage dumps and the misinformation of the population in the final discard of the daily rubbish. This action was summed up in posting drawing as "lambe-lambes" in places considered strategic.

It is the government's task to take the first step toward reducing waste, minimizing negative impacts through educational activities to combat waste, and raising awareness about the proper disposal of garbage, which is in trash cans and, in the case of the city, in landfills. However, in order to find a way to improve the environment, we must have changes in attitude, patterns of behavior, values, and even a cultural evolution of the population. Because it does not justify throwing trash on the ground because of the lack of trash bins.

 

Also, it is not enough to distribute trash cans in the center of the city, it is necessary to educate the population for its use and preservation.
